That's because two plastic tabs (holding the larger speaker in place) were broken, so I had to return the speakers. I would have returned them anyway because the tweeters do not swivel like it states in the product description and on the front of the box. The biggest disappointment was when I looked at the back of the speaker and it reminded me of a child's toy. I only saw two speakers, one little capacitor, and two cheap, tiny red wires running from the tweeter to the woofer. No voice coils or any of the other parts you see on better speakers.
